Vithoulkas Antiques was founded by George Vithoulkas 1935 in Zakynthos. Three generations after, our shop is located in Acropolis area specialising in traditional antique furniture restoration. Our excellent work is based on the combination of the secrets of Ionian tradition, the knowledge on special techniques such as marquetry, Boulle work, French polishing and the use of modern scientific knowledge and thorough documentation before any intervention.
We have a large stock of old veneers and can carry out the most comprehensive job. Old wood is used for all repairs whenever possible in addition to a good selection of 18th and 19th century brassware comprising of handles, locks, keys, ormolu mounts etc.
Some of our regular customers-friends were Ioannis Tsarouchis, Melina Merkouri and the great collector Alexandros Iolas.
